Chiropractic Techniques

Chiropractic is the use of specific techniques to assist with the diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders especially within the spine that contribute to effects on the nervous system.

Chiropractors use various low force or specific manual techniques to not only the spine but also peripheral joints to help with problems arising from injuries or disorders that have occurred to change someone’s health.

This technique is the most common used by chiropractors, and is the most commonly recognised by patients. It is a manual technique that uses high velocity and low force amplitude with the hands to administer a thrust to a specific area of problem. Diversified can be used for the body as a whole, from lower back pain to sports related injuries to shoulders, knees and ankles.

Activator is the use of a small hand held instrument that delivers a gentle impulse force to the spine with the goal of restoring motion to the targeted spinal vertebra or joint.

SOT is a specific gentle and innovative technique that utilises the relationship between the Sacrum (the base of the spine) and the Occiput (base of the skull). The balnce between these two areas is to assist with achieving optimal health.

NET is a mind body technique that uses the methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress. NET is a tool that can help improve many behavioural and physical conditions.
